What you're trying to book

Takashi Ono is Jiro's eldest son. He runs the Roppongi Hills branch (3rd floor of Residence B) and has held two Michelin stars for years. Many reviewers consider Takashi's sushi every bit as good as his father's — some think better, because the Roppongi branch still accepts the general public.

Lunch 11:30–14:00, dinner 17:00–21:00. Closed Wednesday and public holidays. Omakase only; prices are similar to the Ginza honten but access is orders of magnitude easier.

How reservations actually work

The Roppongi branch does not accept direct reservations from first-time overseas guests. The official English channels are Pocket Concierge and Rakuten Travel Experiences — Rakuten is the restaurant's named official reservation partner.

If you have a relationship with a Tokyo hotel concierge (Ritz-Carlton Tokyo in particular is nearby and well-connected), that is the other reliable route. Direct phone at +81-3-5413-6626 is for regulars and Japanese-speakers.

If you want Moshi Moshi to book it for you

Rakuten and Pocket Concierge are the first stops. Moshi Moshi's voice agent cannot bypass the 'no direct overseas reservations' policy, but we can call for you if you're booking through a Japanese hotel or if the aggregator dates don't match yours.

For first-time overseas guests with flexible dates, going through Rakuten is usually the faster path.

Common questions about booking Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi
Does Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi accept reservations in English?
Not directly — Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi takes reservations by phone in Japanese. A limited English allocation is available via Pocket Concierge, Rakuten Travel Experiences (official partner); once those slots fill, the only path is a Japanese-language phone call. A hotel concierge or an AI-assisted booking service like Moshi Moshi can place the call on your behalf in keigo.
How do I book Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi from outside Japan?
Pocket Concierge is the primary channel that accepts international cards and confirms in English (alternatives: Rakuten Travel Experiences (official partner)). If those allocations are sold out, the only remaining route is a Japanese-language phone call to +81-3-5413-6626 — which a hotel concierge or Moshi Moshi can place for you.
Where is Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi located?
Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi is at 3F Roppongi Hills Residence B, 6-12-2 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-0032, in the Roppongi area of Tokyo, Japan.
How far in advance should I book Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi?
1–3 months in advance is the standard window for top sushi and kaiseki counters. Smaller counters (under ten seats) and chef's-counter spots fill faster — try as soon as your travel dates are fixed. Some platforms (Pocket Concierge, TABLEALL) open allocations 60 days out.
Will I receive the booking confirmation in English?
Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi typically confirms reservations in Japanese, by phone. If you book through Moshi Moshi, the call is placed in polite Japanese on your behalf and you receive a written confirmation in English with the date, time, party size, address, and any specific instructions from the venue (deposit, cancellation policy, dress code, dietary notes).
