What you're trying to book
Gora Kadan occupies the grounds of Kan'in-no-miya's summer villa, a retreat of the Japanese imperial family until the post-war period. The current ryokan has 42 rooms, nearly all with private open-air hot-spring baths, plus indoor public baths, a Jacuzzi, and a small indoor pool.
Relais & Châteaux member. Kaiseki dinner is included; the menu leans Hakone-local with Sagami Bay seafood in winter and highland vegetables in summer. Cherry blossom week (early April) and autumn leaves (mid-November) book out nine to twelve months in advance.

The official site has full English booking. Phone at +81-460-82-3331 and email both work for specific requests. The Relais & Châteaux portal bundles Gora Kadan with their other Japanese properties if you're doing a multi-stop stay.
For a high-category room (own garden, multiple private baths), you may get further by emailing than by using the standard booking form.
